Cory's 5th Bday Cake. He requested Spiderman last minute. Found a picture online yesterday. Worked on tracing it w/ Color Flow. Finished it yesterday and baked a cake as well. Then today I finished the whole cake. :) Not bad for last minute thing. :)

Every month in my daughter's Elementary School, the PTA has a hospitality group that does something for the teachers. This month we made any type of "Fall Treat".

This is a Devil's Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Pudding in the middle and covered in Buttercream Icing.

Hope they all enjoyed it!!

Bottom cake is a 2 layer 16 inch square Basic Pound Cake w/ an eclair type filling (Vanilla Pudding w/ Cool Whip).

The top is the Wilton's Shamrock Cake pan. I made Devil's Food cake with Chocolate Chips.

Both cakes are iced with White Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting.

Not really happy with my icing, had a hard time "covering up" the Chocolate underneath. Everytime I try to smooth out the icing it reveals other spots. Not sure if it's just me or if it's the icing. I tend to notice that Cream Cheese has a tendency to have a "melting effect" and not really easy to work with. Guess I need more practice!! :D

Made the cake for a friend of a friend's wedding. I guess the Bride didn't want a traditional Wedding Cake and needed something to have the ceremonial cutting of the cake. So this is what we came up with.

We weighed the cake and it came out to 31 lbs. Yikes!! :D

Made this for my daughter's 6th Birthday.

Used a Fairly Odd Parents Cake pan made by Wilton. Got the pan at Micheal's for $1.00 :). B

But let me tell you, couldn't really see the indentations on the cake. Thought I couldn't do it! But as usual, it came out nice. If I do say so myself!! :D Hehehe

I used Pillsbury Funfetti Cake and again used Buttercream Icing.

Made this cake for my niece's 11th Birthday.

I used color flow to make Angelica from "Rugrats - All Grown Up".

It's a Dark Chocolate Fudge mixed with Devil's Food. I also added some Milk Chocolate Chips with Buttercream Icing.

My daughter and her Troop will be Bridging from Daisies to Brownies Tomorrow (06/11/2006).

Made the cake for their celebration. It's a French Vanilla with Buttercream Icing.

Around the cake I put their Troop # and all of their names (9 of them).

For the train i used Wilton's 3D Choo Choo Train and it is a Devil's Chocolate cake w/ buttercream icing. Below is a 9x13 Rectangle and it is a Fudge Marble cake also w/ buttercream icing.
